Poisoning Your Child??

I am inspired to start this page in response to the events beginning in 2014 with the changing of Flint, Michigan’s water supply to the local Flint River instead of receiving water from Detroit.

The result was high levels of trihalomethanes and lead in the public water supply. I saw on CNN and in Time this poor little boy, hardly three years old, who had lead poisoning and erupted in rashes every time he had a bath. I felt so sad because I have a small boy and could not imagine how hurt I would feel if my child was in pain from poisoning. At this time I do not know how to address lead poisoning. But I take it upon myself to research this topic. I will add posts about treating and detoxing from lead when I feel confident in my research.

What I do know is that a healthy body is able to cleanse itself of poison and environmental adulterants. I am going to do small posts regularly on ways to transform your child’s body to be stronger and healthier. There are many ways that mothers are poisoning their own children. Of course this is accidental. But please read this blog and follow my tips to not only avoid poisoning your child through unhealthy food choices, but also to increase your child’s health. A healthy child is happier and this makes a happy home. A healthy child is able to combat sources of poisoning like lead better than one who eats any type of food. A healthy child is a smarter child. A smarter child will become have the means to become anything she/he dreams of being and will be able to take care of you in your old age.

Step 1: COLORS ARE NOT HEALTHY

 

We innately are drawn to colorful food. Our brains are evolutionarily wired to be attracted to bright colored fruits and vegetables. In general, colorful foods are healthier. But this is with a caveat (which is why the title of this post is so named), only foods that are made in nature are healthy by color.

FAKE COLORS ARE NOT HEALTHY. THESE COLORS ARE MAN MADE AND POISON YOUR CHILD.

 

Any of the below items should be removed from the diet as the added colors can and will poison your child.

 

  1. All drinks that are colorful unless they are 100% JUICE.
  2. Any food that is colored and not a fruit of vegetable.
  3. Any candy that is colored, especially the brightly colored candies. (limit to once a month for children over 5, never for children under 5)
  4. Any food label that lists a color, especially if the color is followed by a number (such as Red #5, Red Lake #40 is especially carcinogenic).

 

INSTEAD EAT AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT COLORS OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES A DAY. THESE COLORS ARE HEALTHY.
