Gluten-Free Creamy  Golden Chicken

Garbanzo flour comes from the chick pea. It has a very rich flavor and works well in any cooking dish as substitute for flour. Try it in other gravy recipes or in a roux.

4 chicken breasts

2 onions

4 stalks celery

1 clove garlic

1/3 c garbanzo flour

1 cups (Clean) veggie or chicken broth

½ t coriander

½ t turmeric

  1. Saute onions until they begin to caramelize adding celery and garlic halfway through cooking .
  2. See number (7 – 8)
  3. Add spices
  4. Mix garbanzo flour into broth and pour into pan
  5. Pour over chicken breasts
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 -50 min or until 180 degrees internally

While waiting for onions to cook:

  1. Sear chicken breasts on medium high heat on stove top in olive oil
  2. Do not cook chicken all the way. The middle should remain very pink, but the outside will be browned
