Stir Fried Greens

1 large bunch greens of your choice

(mustard greens, kale, swiss chard, Chinese cabbage)

Cook greens by method of choice. I prefer to steam for 10 min. or to braise for 5 min till bright green. Be careful not to overcook these greens as that can lead to unpalatable stringyness. About 1 min after you see them turn bright green take off heat.

Pour sauce over greens for a beautiful and tasty dish.

Sauce:

Fry on low 2-5 min:

2-3 cloves crushed garlic

olive oil

1/2 c almond slices

Add

1/2 t tumeric

2 t miso paste dissolved in 1/4 c water

let simmer till slightly reduced and thickened, 5 min on med heat.

Alternative: add almonds in at last min to preserve raw character and flavor.
