Rice (Arugula) Salad- 5 min
This is a good way, besides a smoothie, to get those flax seeds, with essential Omega-3’s, in.
1 lg handful arugula (or lettuce of your choice)
4 pieces sorrel
1 T flax powder (or ground flax seeds)
1/3 c brown rice (cooked)
1 garlic clove
1 green onion
1 T olive oil
1 T basil
Toss all together. Salt and Pepper it.
5 Min for a single serving.
I used basil that had been recently dried from the garden. This is an easy thing to do, after growing a few plants hang upside down till dry and then put leaves in baggie. This is a very low effort plant to grow. The healthy improvement in flavor makes would be bland dishes fabulous.
